Seven Sands Website Design Process 🖥 Today I thought I would give a little insight into the way we design and develop our custom wordpress websites. 👩🏼‍💻 1. Website Questionnaire followed by meeting to discuss project requirements
After you have filled out the design questionnaire, if needed, we will set up a meeting to discuss your project requirments so I can send you a project proposal. 2. Create Design Renders
Once the proposal has been accepted and the 50% deposit has been paid and all of the website content has been sent through, I will get create 2 website design renders. This is usually a render of the homepage and 1 other major page on your website. This usually takes between 1-2 weeks. 3. Design Review & Feedback
We will then set up a meeting to review the designs together and make any adjustments. These meetings are usually held via Zoom. 4. Website Development
Once the design has been approved I will then turn it into a functioning website. The website will be built on a staging domain and only people with the link will have access to it. This usally taskes between 2-3 weeks. At this point the 25% invoice will be sent. 5. Draft Website Review
Again, we will review the website draft together and make and adjustments. 6. Go Live & Website Training
Once you are 100% happy with the entire website I will connect your domain name to your hosting account and organise to take the website live. I will also organise a 30min - 1 hour training session so I can teach you exactly how to use and make edits to your new website. Are you ready to take your business to the next level? How to create the perfect FAQ page⁠⁠ 🖥

FAQ pages are great for every small business website. They help to answer simple questions from your customers which in return saves valuable time in offering support for the same common questions.⁠⁠

Here are my steps to creating the perfect FAQ page for your business.⁠⁠

1. Find your most common questions.⁠⁠
Revisit old emails or take notes during phone calls of questions your customers ask. If they seem to be commonly asked questions add these to your page.⁠⁠

2. Decide how you will organise your FAQ page.⁠⁠
Depending on the type of business you have, your FAQ page might consist of many questions about various topics. Include subheading to help your customers find the question they might be looking for. E.g. General, Shipping, Service #1, Service #2 etc.⁠⁠

3. Design your FAQ page⁠⁠
The most common way to design your FAQ page is by using accordions. Accordians keep the page looking nice and short because it keeps the answers hidden until the user clicks on their desired question.⁠⁠

4. Publish the FAQ page.⁠⁠
Once the page is ready publish it and provide a link in your main navigation bar and footer so no matter where your customers are they will be able to access the page if they need help.⁠⁠

5. Keep the page up to date.⁠⁠
Your FAQ page should be a constant work in progress. When you receive new questions be sure to list them in your FAQs.⁠⁠
